Yoga Really Works is a wellbeing business specialising in accessible, adaptive yoga. We are based in Birmingham UK and have been a sole trader since 2016.

Through this sites plug in Contact Form (Mail Chimp) data we collect is name and email address and active consent by ticking the opt in box.
Who we share your data with
We never receive information from any other third party nor do we share your personal information with a third party.
How long we retain your data
All personal data collected via this website and prior to joining a class/ session/ workshop/event is kept in secure clouds that only the owner has the passwords for. We keep Contacts health and Waiver forms for six years.

Please contact us to have your records shown/deleted.
Where we send your data
All that data is safeguarded to European data protection standards. This is the web hosting (TSO) and cloud storage (Google workspace).

A more complex collection and processing of personal data is required for persons attending funded sessions. If you do not want to have your personal details collected to ensure future funding (for Cancer Sessions) please contact us.

What Yoga Really works does with your data
Yoga Really Works collects, stores and protects data in 5 ways;
1 Booking classes direct
Payment is collected in 2 ways (bank transfer or Paypal) All account holders information is never reproduced/copied or stored.
2 Email (Mail Chimp)
Name and email addresses of subscribers are kept on a external, secure database. You will only be on our mailing list by opting in (tick box).
3 Online reservation site (Bookwhen) is an Encrypted site that collects data such as the persons date of birth, contact email and opt in tick box of email address being saved to mailing list.
4 Online Exercise medical forms
New students are asked to fill in a form which has address and email information as well as information about injuries and health issues. This is for Georgina’s purposes only.
- Phone numbers
These are stored in a business only mobile phone for those people who have contacted Georgina by phone or are regulars who text or call her about classes. This mobile is stored safely when business hours are over.
Unsubscribing
If you no longer wish to hear from us please email us indicating you wish to have your details removed from our system and no longer receive marketing information or alternatively unsubscribe using the contact us page on the website. You always have the choice not to opt into emails at any time and there is an unsubscribe button on every Mail Chimp email sent.
