Attending a George’s Marvellous Sounds Event with Sarah, guest Sound Facilitator.

Here’s what you can expect during this immersive and relaxing experience:

1.The space will be dimly lit or have ambient lighting to create a soothing atmosphere.

2. Arrival: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by George. She will provide any necessary information about the event.

3.Setting up your Space: You’ll be provided with a space to lie down or sit. Bring lots of props! Use yoga mats, cushions, duvet, sleeping bag, blankets to enhance your comfort during the session. Wear warm clothes too-body temperatures tend to lower.

Feel free to make any adjustments to ensure you are completely at ease.

4. George will offer a few supine movements(Optional): To help participants relax their minds and bodies before immersing them in the sounds.

5. Sarah the Sound facilitator will use a variety of instruments, such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes drums, and other resonant instruments. Each instrument produces a unique sound frequency that is designed to induce a state of relaxation and meditation.

6.Sound Immersion: Once the session starts, Sarah will play the instruments creating a symphony of soothing and harmonious sounds. The vibrations produced by these instruments are said to help release tension, reduce stress, and promote a sense of well-being.

7.Letting Go: As the sound vibrations wash over you, you’ll be encouraged to let go of any thoughts or distractions and focus on the sounds. Simply allow yourself to be present and open to the experience.

8.Deep Relaxation: The sound immersion will last for 75 minutes. During this time, many participants may enter a deep state of relaxation, similar to a meditative state.

Closing and Integration: Towards the end of the session, Sarah will gradually reduce the intensity of the sounds, gently bringing you back to the present moment.

Departure: After the event ends, take your time to reorient yourself and ground before leaving the space. You might want to drink some water, tea, eat some chocolate/ dried fruits or journal your thoughts and feelings after the Sound Bath.

Remember that the experience can be different for each individual, and there is no right or wrong way to experience a Sound Bath. It’s a deeply personal journey, and the intention is to help you find tranquility, relaxation, and inner harmony. Enjoy the sounds, let go, and savour the rejuvenating effects.
